Many patients in Southwest Florida know they should get their heart or arteries checked, but face real barriers: a primary care physician who won’t order imaging without symptoms, insurance that requires pre-authorization, hospital wait times stretching weeks or months, and bills that arrive long after the appointment with no way to predict the cost.
Sonolinked removes every one of those barriers. We are a mobile, self-pay ultrasound service staffed by a credentialed cardiovascular sonographer with over 10 years of clinical experience. You book directly. We come to you. You pay a flat price you know before we arrive. And your results are reviewed by a cardiologist: the same standard of care you’d receive at a hospital outpatient center, without the referral, the wait, or the billing surprise.
No referral required. No insurance needed. All services performed by a cardiovascular-certified sonographer (RDCS, RVT) serving Port Charlotte, North Port, Venice, Englewood, Arcadia, and surrounding Southwest Florida communities.
An echocardiogram, also called a cardiac echo or heart ultrasound, uses sound waves to create a real-time image of your heart as it beats. It evaluates your heart’s pumping strength (ejection fraction), the health of your four heart valves, the size of your heart chambers, and whether any walls are moving abnormally. This is the most comprehensive non-invasive way to assess your heart’s function without radiation
A carotid ultrasound evaluates the two major arteries running along each side of your neck that supply blood to your brain, detecting plaque buildup, narrowing (stenosis), and abnormal blood flow patterns that are major causes of ischemic stroke. Identifying carotid disease early allows timely lifestyle changes and medical treatment to reduce the risk of stroke or transient ischemic attack (TIA) before symptoms occur.
An AAA screening ultrasound checks the size of your aorta as it travels through the abdomen, identifying any abnormal enlargement or bulging in the vessel wall. An abdominal aortic aneurysm can develop silently and may rupture without warning, with rupture being fatal in approximately 80% of cases. The scan is quick, usually taking around 15 minutes, requires no special preparation, and is completely painless and non-invasive.
A renal ultrasound examines your kidneys: their size, shape, internal structure, and blood flow through the renal arteries. It can identify kidney cysts, structural abnormalities, signs of chronic kidney disease, and renovascular hypertension (high blood pressure caused by reduced blood flow to the kidneys). This is an important study for patients whose blood pressure is difficult to control with medication.
If you have recently had a cardiac catheterization, coronary angiogram, or any procedure accessing the femoral artery at the groin site, a follow-up groin ultrasound is essential before resuming normal activity. This scan rules out pseudoaneurysm (a dangerous pocket of blood at the arterial wall) and hematoma at the access site, complications that can develop in the days after a procedure and are easily missed without imaging.
This test checks blood flow in the arteries of the arms or legs Upper & Lower Extremity Arterial Ultrasound Leg and Arm Arteries Purpose diagnoses peripheral artery disease PAD detects blockages or assesses circulation before or after a procedure It evaluates how well blood is moving through the peripheral arteries helping identify narrowing or obstructions that can reduce oxygen supply to muscles and tissues especially during movement or exertion.
Upper and Lower Extremity Venous Ultrasound Vein Scan This ultrasound evaluates the veins in your arms or legs It is used to look for deep vein thrombosis DVT blood clots or chronic venous insufficiency which includes varicose veins and poor circulation It helps check how well blood is returning through the veins and can identify any clots or valve problems that may be affecting normal blood flow in the limbs

Depending on your study, the scan takes between 15 and 45 minutes. Echocardiograms typically take 30–35 minutes. Carotid and AAA screenings take 15–20 minutes each. Vascular studies vary by the number of vessels assessed. All scans are completely non-invasive and painless; ultrasound uses sound waves, not radiation. You can eat, drink, and take medications normally before most studies (your sonographer will confirm any specific prep at booking).
Every study performed by Sonolinked is reviewed by a qualified cardiologist. Your digital results report is delivered within 2–3 business days via secure digital delivery. The report is formatted to share with your primary care physician, cardiologist, or any specialist you choose. What Our Patients Say: Real Experiences, Real Results
Amani built Sonolinked because she lived the problem. As a cardiovascular sonographer with over a decade of clinical experience, including high-acuity work at the University of Florida Shands Teaching Hospital and multiple travel assignments. She saw the gaps firsthand: new grads with no mentorship, patients who couldn’t afford or access echocardiograms without a referral, physicians who needed mobile ultrasound services but couldn’t justify full-time equipment costs, and recruiters who had no specialized platform for finding credentialed RDMS and RDCS sonographers.
As a dual-modality expert in echocardiography and vascular sonography, she brings clinical precision and real-world insight to every aspect of the platform. Sonolinked is her answer: one connected hub where sonographers grow their careers, physicians expand their diagnostic capabilities, patients get affordable cardiac screening, and recruiters find the specialized talent they need.
